Hi! I’m Chris McConnell, Owner, and Operator of Complete Plumbing and Drain.

Growing up around plumbing, it’s no wonder Chris developed a passion for the trade. Around 29 years old, Chris became a State Certified Master Plumber and launched Complete Plumbing and Drain in 2019.

Chris is an active member of the professional networking group and the world’s leading business referral organization, Business Network International (BNI), and is involved with his Church, Nativity Catholic in Brandon.

FAQ

What are the most common plumbing issues?

At some point in your life, you’ll likely encounter some of the most common plumbing issues, like clogged drains, leaking faucets, low water pressure, and water heater problems.

How often should I have my plumbing inspected?

Generally, we suggest homeowners and business owners have their plumbing systems inspected about once a year to prevent future issues and ensure all components function correctly.

What should I do in a plumbing emergency?

When the emergency is noticed, shut off the water supply and call your local plumbing professionals to report the time-sensitive or hazardous issue. Never attempt to repair or diagnose a major plumbing problem on your own if you are not certified, avoiding dangerous situations and further harm to your plumbing system.

How can I prevent plumbing emergencies and general issues?

The number-one way to avoid plumbing emergencies and costly repairs is to invest in routine maintenance, where a professional inspects your system. It is recommended to book an appointment at least once a year, depending on your plumbing system’s age, size, and other characteristics.

Furthermore, treating your pipes, fixtures, heater, and softener with care is an excellent way to prevent emergencies. For instance, never flush non-flushable items, keep heavy grease and similar substances out of your kitchen drain, and use trusted cleaners and tools for general upkeep.
